Q: Will my order arrive in time?
A: Yes, SendGiftBasket guarantees that the items you ordered will arrive on time. Except for the situations that we can’t influence (please check Terms & Conditions for specifics).
Q: Will I be noticed when the recipient gets the gift?
A: The delivery confirmation can be checked in Account Center. After your order has been processed you will get an e-mail with login info.
Q: Are the companies that you use for shipping gifts trustworthy?
A: We use professional world’s top international shipping company DHL for deliveries across Europe.
Q: Is it possible to deliver the gift next day?
A: Yes, in all European countries that we send gifts to, the next day delivery is possible under the condition that it is a working day. You have to complete your order till 12 o’clock midday and choose express delivery so the recipient can get it the next working day.
Q: Why do you need the recipient’s phone number?
A: In case of recipients absence sometimes the shipping company employee can directly call the recipient to arrange another time/day of delivery. Phone number is also useful in case any delivery issues arise.
Q: In case the recipient is not at home at the time of delivery, will he still be able to get the gift?
A: The shipping company will leave a note in such case, so the recipient can call them and make another arrangement (time and place of delivery) that suits him more.
Q: Do you deliver to hotels, hospitals and P.O. boxes?
A: We deliver to hotels and hospitals (it is advisable that you enquire if the recipient is still there and give us the right info), but not to P.O. boxes
Q: Will the price of gift be visible to the recipient?
A: No, the recipient will not be informed about the price.
Q: Will the recipient have to pay any costs while accepting the gift?
A: The recipient won’t have to pay any additional costs.
Q: Why is there an option on the main page (Change destination) to choose a country prior to shopping?
A: There is a customized delivery information so that the shipping costs and customs can be calculated and also because there are some differencies between European countries. Choosing country before shopping is made to ease your navigation and shopping on our website.
Q: Is my information secure?
A: At the moment you place an order, you are redirected to Verisign, a secure order form. By choosing this level of security, we are able to establish a secure connection between your computer and our server. Using Secure Sockets Layering (SSL), an advanced encryption technology used to protect the storage and transfer of your data, we are able to keep your personal information from unauthorized parties. Your order remains encrypted until it is safely behind the firewall of our order-processing center. A copy of your credit card information or PayPal account information is not stored on our database, which makes it impossible for hackers to steal.
